Diana's Bath - Looked a little too chilly for a dip today!

Woke up to big, fat snowflakes floating down from the sky and temperatures hovering just above freezing - decided that would make the perfect weather for a meander through the quiet woods. Snow in the woods really does make it seem like you are all alone out there, just you and nature; so peaceful.

We did come across one pair leaving the trail as we arrived, one family on their way back in, but otherwise, it was just use, the snow, and a chirpy bird somewhere off in the trees.

The path to Diana's Bath is pretty wide as it curves gently along through the woods. It is generally flat until you get to the first waterfall, then it starts to climb at a gently slope. You have the options to pick your own way carefully along the water or follow the wide path as it moves a bit away from the stream. The snow was well packed down on the path, but deeper than it appeared if you stepped off the trodden areas.

The cascades did not disappoint, even though there were parts covered in snow or ice, the waterfalls still rushed along, adding their sound to the quiet of the surrounding woods. The pools of water that I'm sure are refreshing for a quick dip in the summer looked a tad chilly today, even for the goddess Diana.

This out and back trail is super easy, mostly flat (118 feet of elevation at the falls if you walk along all of them), and is only 1.3 miles long. There is a small parking fee at the lot. It should also me noted, that while I got very lucky today with barely any people on the trail, this is a very popular trail and I have gone in the past when it has been very busy. So, I would plan ahead and get there early if you want a parking space and less crowds.
